Everything was designed only for this book: the paper specially made in Holland, the text by Uzanne, the illustrations by Caruchet, the typography by Barbier. The volume is entirely etched and printed page by page in intaglio and all the pages have been hand-watercoloured.

For us, Henri Caruchet's greatest achievement, an exceptional book written and edited by Octave Uzanne for independent bibliophiles.
