In-4 paperback, illustrated folded cover. The most important illustrated work of Alphose Mucha composed of 134 lithographs including 5 outside the text, enhanced with gold and silver.

This is the German version published in Prague in 1901 on vellum paper in 800 copies, 4 years after the version published in Paris by Piazza in 250 copies on fine paper. The book opens with a title in relief made by Alexandre Charpentier) and ends with a coat of arms in relief.
It is specified in the French version that the lithographic plates were destroyed after printing.

Given that the lithographs of the German and French versions are strictly identical apart from certain colors. This could be due either to the fact that the tracings of Mucha's drawings made for the engraving of the lithographic plates were reused for the Kunst-Verlag editions, or Piazza printed a surplus on vellum paper to resell to another publisher.
