Cut, edges of the outer covers accompanied by gilt fillets. Pasteboards decorated with gilt frames and roulette on the exteriors, visible on the chase. Red cloth on guard and passboard. Subsequent guards in marbled paper then white guard. Illustrated cover preserved. Half title, proof of the print run and title frontispieces, handwritten and bound. 24 compositions illustrated by Léon Lebègue including 20 plates of texts framed and illustrated.
Suite in color on Japan then suite in black and white on China.
