From the pastel poetry of Alexandre Lunois' lithographs, we move on to the very contemporary style of Eugène Courboin, almost similar to a comic strip of today and which perfectly supports the malaise of the Antichrist. Then comes Carloz Schwabe who plunges us into the antechamber of death with almost morbid symbolist atmospheres, all ending with the very personal drawings of Alexandre Séon, whose style, after 130 years, remains as modern as ever.
